On July 19-21, 2009, Medline brought together leaders from the long-term care community to our nation’s capital to participate in a forum called The Quality Summit: A New Era of Quality Assurance in Long-Term Care.

More than 100 healthcare leaders attended this special invitational forum, which was designed to foster an exchange of ideas and a better understanding of the changes taking place in quality assurance in the long-term care environment. At the forum, they discussed effective, real-life approaches to improving resident-centered quality care, especially in light of new healthcare technology and the impending changes to the survey process.
