Zimbabwe's Deputy Prime Minister Visits Medline To Discuss Business Opportunities in African Nation

Medline Exploring Distribution of Medical Supplies to Zimbabwe

Friday, April 09, 2010 — Deputy Prime Minister of Zimbabwe Arthur Mutambara visited the headquarters of Medline Industries, Inc. today to discuss opportunities for the company to distribute or manufacture its medical supplies in the African nation. Medline, based in Mundelein, Ill., is the largest privately held manufacturer and distributor of healthcare supplies in the U.S.
 
Medline is partnering with Dr. Willie Wilson, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Omar, Inc., a medical products distributor, and Martin Munangatire, co-owner of Sub-Sahara, a medical supply company based in Zimbabwe, to supply products to Zimbabwe.
